Lawford Junior Football Club found themselves in a bit of a situation on Saturday. Two important league  games, and no referee!

Luckily for them, they have a connection to Water Direct....... Richard Connor was at the Saturday training session, when the news broke that both the referee and back up referee were unable to attend Sunday's matches. As usual the company ethos of getting the job done came into play. Richard called Gordon Ryder one of Water Direct's senior technicians, who at the time was delivering an emergency water supply using one of our 15000 litre water tankers.

During the course of his job, Gordon a qualified Referee, is used to acting as a water supplier and immediately rose to the challenge of presiding over two games of football for the under 11's. This ensured that two vital, end of season games could take part.
