Upturn in Construction

BY RICHARD CONNOR  |  POSTED IN COMPANY NEWS

The economic climate has been a testing one over the past two years. It has affected most business sectors, some more than others. The construction industry has been one of the worst casualties. At Water Direct we are involved in the building process at the early stages, such as soak away testing, remediation and providing welfare.

During 2008 the number of construction projects that we were involved with declined considerably, a trend which continued in 2009. However, since the end of last year we have witnessed a confidence returning to the sector, unprecedented in the previous two years which has resulted in many new projects across the country.

We now find ourselves delivering water tanks in order to provide welfare facilities, and tankers supplying clean, quality assured water for various forms of testing and engineering works.

Long may this upturn continue!
