Potable Water Storage Tanks
Potable water is the name given to safe drinking water. It is of a sufficiently high quality, free from any harmful organisms and high levels of impurities or other pollutants.
All of the potable water storage tanks supplied by Water Direct are designed to be used in many situations, making them suitable for use in emergency water deployments, on construction and festival sites.
Each potable water tank is equipped with two taps suitable for filling drinking water bottles, cup or buckets. There is also a 2” outlet which can be connected to machinery or welfare units via a water pump.
Each water tanker, water bowser and water tank used for temporary water supply that Water Direct operates is constructed from WRAS approved material, making it suitable for the transportation and storage of drinking water.
