Sectional Water Tanks
Water Direct supply a range of sectional water tanks which are used for containing bulk water. They are delivered in 'kit' form and are designed to be assembled on site.
There are two different type of sectional water tank, firstly demountable water tanks, fabricated in corrugated galvanised steel, which are available in various sizes up to approximately 200,000 litre capacity. Once constructed, a liner is fitted, making the tank suitable for water storage. The benefit of these water storage tanks is that even the largest unit can be installed to any site with a flat surface in one day. Water Direct favours this type of water storage tank for use as a temporary water supply.
These tanks are particularly useful on large construction and festival sites where they can be deployed and filled with a quality assured water supply.
The other constructed from 1.2m square hot pressed moulded steel or plastic panels, which are bolted together along their external and sometimes internal flanges. The plus points of this system are that you make better use of the given area (i.e. maximum use of the m3 available to you). The downside is that they require ground works and are time consuming to erect, and so should be seen as a longer term water storage tank solution.
Once your sectional water tank has been erected, Water Direct can fill it with our fleet of dedicated drinking water tankers. Each water tanker is complete with an onboard water pump capable of delivering an alternative water supply, quickly and efficiently.
