Simultaneous investment in increased fleet capacity and technical capabilities delivers added value to customers.
Water Direct’s acquisition of Liquiline marks a significant expansion of the company’s capabilities, consolidating its position as the UK’s most trusted supplier of alternative drinking water.
The strategic integration of Liquiline’s assets and personnel into Water Direct’s operations combines the industry-leading resources, expertise, and geographical reach of both organisations to deliver unmatched quality, service, and value to customers. The breadth of experience and knowledge across the teams, coupled with extensive infrastructure and augmented fleet, will enhance operational capacity and agility.
As part of the integration, Bill Wootten joins Water Direct’s leadership team, adding a layer of expertise, experience, and customer-centric approach at the highest levels. Bill assumes the role of Director of Business Development, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and insight garnered from his extensive experience as Managing Director at Liquiline and many prior years in the water supply and events industries.
Alongside Bill, the Water Direct team is boosted by the addition of experienced operational and commercial colleagues from Liquiline who will collaborate closely with the established team to ensure continuity of service and exceptional customer experience. Liquiline’s customers will continue to benefit from the high level of service they have come to expect, while also benefitting from Water Direct’s industry-leading quality standards.
The significant value of Liquiline’s people and equipment is further enhanced by a £2.5M investment in Water Direct’s fleet. This milestone investment in the business, when combined with the additional Liquiline vehicles, grows what was already the UK’s largest commercial fleet of dedicated potable water tankers by 80%.
In addition, over the last 12 months, the company has developed industry-leading CRM and works management software to provide real-time tracking, live quality management data, and electronic proof of delivery to customers. Further work over the next 6 months will provide customers with a unique real-time auditability that reflects Water Direct’s commitment to transparency and quality that customers rightfully expect.
From alternative supply to household customers on behalf of water utilities, temporary supply for non-household industrial and commercial use, to site-specific emergency planning, and bulk deliveries for construction projects and events, the combined expertise and capability of the two organisations under the Water Direct brand represents more than just a consolidation of assets and knowledge; it reflects a step-change in the quality, capability and reliability that customers can expect from their temporary water supply partner.
