Water Supplies for Construction and Civil Engineering
Water Direct has been the premier supplier of water and water infrastructure to construction and civil engineering companies from all over the country since 1996. We supply water to main contractors and subcontractors alike, throughout the building process, from soak away testing, remediation, concrete mixing, to wheel wash and dust suppression applications.
Water Direct provides quality assured water for all site welfare needs together with the entire required infrastructure such as hydro constant water pumps and all relevant fittings. We ensure an uninterrupted supply of water using our range of temporary water storage solutions.
Water Tanks
Our comprehensive range of water tanks have all been designed to act as a surrogate mains water supply if a utility supply is not available or to provide temporary mains fed reservoir for when process water is required at a volume that your existing supply cannot keep up with.
Water Tankers
Our range of water tankers is designed to service even the tightest of site environments. Large volume 26,000 litre articulated water tankers are available for sites with better access, and turning areas etc. All of our water tankers have the facility to pump water at least 200m, using their on board pumping systems. We even operate 4x4 rigid tankers which can make a water delivery off road.
Site Welfare Water
Besides supplying sites with a temporary water installation and connecting it to your welfare units, we also offer a chlorination and disinfection and sampling service for your toilet, shower and kitchen facilities, thus providing a supply of clean, quality assured and wholesome water to the point of delivery.
Water and Health & Safety
The Health and Safety Executive produces guidance on providing suitable welfare facilities to fixed construction sites (Construction Information Sheet No.18 (rev1)) and transient sites (Construction Information Sheet No.46).
