Water Direct has grown significantly over the past few years and this is reflected in our recruitment needs which are increasing all the time.
Due to increased demand for its services, Water Direct is looking to appoint an additional Duty Manager to its operations team.
The Duty Manager Role is pivotal to our business and the successful candidate will act as primary point of contact for emergency response requests. They will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day transport activities and keeping internal and external stakeholders actively informed at all times.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, with support from the Transport Logistics Assistant, Operations Administrator and Fleet Supervisors, the successful candidate will play an important part in the effective delivery of Water Direct’s services nationwide.
The successful applicant will be a calm and confident communicator with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. They will possess a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail. Ideally, they will hold a Cat C vehicle licence or be willing to undertake training/certification accordingly.
This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Essex head office. Hours of work are 12 hours daily on a 3on/2off basis, rotating days/nights.
