Alternative Water Supplies
Water Direct provide alternative water supplies using a range of dedicated drinking water equipment such as water bowsers, water tankers (ranging from 10,000 litres to 26,000 litres in capacity) and water tanks (from 1,100 – 50,000 litres). What you choose to do with the water we provide is up to you, although all of our alternative water supplies are delivered as a quality assured product.
As part of our duty as a diligent water supplier we ensure that all of the materials used in the transportation, storage and pumping of our alternative water supplies are WRAS approved. Everything from the stainless steel of our water tankers, the plastic of our water tanks and pipe work, through to the parts of each tap and water pump are constructed from a compliant material.
In most cases where an alternative water supply is required, temporary water storage tanks are needed in order to provide a surrogate supply to an area, whether this is an emergency situation where tanks have been deployed into the street, or in a planned work situation where we are providing water to a building site which has not yet been connected to the main utility water supply.

Temporary Water Storage Tanks
Water Direct uses a variety of water storage and static water tanks. We supply temporary portable water supply solutions for outdoor festivals, air shows and fun days, along with construction and civil engineering sites, as well as for commercial use. Our temporary water storage solutions act as a surrogate water supply for many reasons in the event of a piped mains supply not being available.

Water Bowsers
We supply 2000 litre water bowsers, deployed using Land Rover vehicles which are ideal for small deliveries of bulk water. Each bowser can be supplied with a water pump, able to pump water over 200 meters to where it is required.

Our fleet of dedicated drinking water tankers ranging from 10000 to 260000 litre capacities provide bulk water solutions for any eventuality. Big enough to deploy large volumes of quality assured water, yet still small enough to drive through residential areas.
