Utility Week Awards nominations

We’re delighted that Water Direct has been shortlisted in two categories at the upcoming Utility Week Awards: Digital Transformation and Strategic Partner of the Year.

The Digital Transformation nomination recognises the system we’ve built to manage alternative water supply during supply interruptions. It gives utilities, operational teams and delivery partners a single live operational record, replacing fragmented phone, email and paper-based processes. Originally developed to support Priority Services customers, timestamping and photographing every delivery to a vulnerable household, it has now recorded deliveries to more than 324,000 households since 2025.

The Strategic Partner of the Year nomination recognises our work with water companies to strengthen alternative water supply resilience. Combining joint planning before an incident with the physical capacity to respond: our own fleet, an approved partner network and experienced operational teams, backed by specialist digital infrastructure, we help utilities prepare for and respond to incidents more effectively, with complete visibility of every delivery from start to finish.
