Water Resilience for Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Belmond Hotel
Safeguarding Guest Experience: Water Resilience for Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Belmond Hotel
Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons hotel and restaurant is world-renowned for its two Michelin-starred dining, luxury accommodation, and exceptional guest experience. Hosting up to 120 guests and supported by 220 staff, its daily operations—from restaurants and bars to guest rooms and leisure facilities—depend on a continuous, reliable water supply.
The hotel experienced a multi-day water outage, forcing the closure of operations and relocation of guest bookings and events. This incident highlighted critical vulnerabilities:
- Limited on-site water storage capable of sustaining operations only for a short period.
- Complex internal water infrastructure, making emergency interventions challenging.
- High operational and reputational risks due to interruptions, including guest dissatisfaction and potential staff welfare issues.
